●雷坊やのカアミイ君 – Carmie, the thunder boy

Twitterのアイコンにも使用しているこのキャラクター、名前はカアミイ君。私が覚えている限り…私が小学生の頃にお父さんが作って、お客さんに無料で配布しました。 「地元にこんな民話がある。でも、誰も知らない…って、それじゃぁ、なんか寂しいじゃないか。」 そんな理由で作られた手ぬぐい＆ふんどしです。今では、残っているのは手ぬぐいだけかな～？　あと、江戸時代の御器所界隈の地図をデザインした手ぬぐいも作ってました。　そして全て無料配布。やっぱり、昔っから気前のよい父です。(^-^;笑 This character which I’m using as a Twitter icon is named, Ca-mie. この雷坊やの「カアミイ君」が地元の名古屋(御器所)の様々な場面で20世紀に蘇り、活躍してくれたことは前述のとおり。 ●名古屋市の紹介。 ●果ては中国へ渡り、現地の子供たちと名古屋の子供たちの友情をつなぐ「切り紙による友好作品展」への参加。 などなど…かわいぃ顔して意外と活発で、国際派なんです。（笑） 後ほど、私がアメリカに一緒に行った時のこともお話しますね！ This ‘thunder boy’ character was craved from the old folk story in Gokiso, Nagoya-city. ツイッターのアイコンで「八幡湯」のふんどしをしているキャラクターの名前はカアミイ君。 Ｔｈｉｓ character I’m using for the Twitter icon is named, Carmie. Can you see this thunderboy is wearing a loincloth with the name of HACHIMANYU? I was the one who didn’t know the existence of this tale until my Dad maid it into a loin cloth.
