1985年の記事なので、もしかしたらもう今は一般的なのかもしれませんが…脱衣場や浴室BGMが流れる銭湯は当時まだ珍しかったようです。中京スポーツの記者さんが言っています。
「ヤングにバカウケの銭湯だ」と。
「いくっきゃないヨ。」と。(笑)
Maybe it’s normal today, but back in 1985, it was very unique to have background music in the SENTO (bath house). In this article, the writer saids, “This sento is being a great hit among young generations!”, “Better go and check it out!!”
そういえば、今年の年末…
いつもはサントラ的な英語で言う「エレベーターミュージック」をかけているところ、ちょっとした気まぐれで「美空ひばり」さんのナンバーをかけたところ、意外と反響があったらしい。リクエストにお答えするサービスを始めてはどうか？と父に提案中。もちろん、私の歌ってる曲をリクエストしていただいてもいいですけどね！（笑） たぶん、お風呂場にはあんまり合わないな…「リラックス」よりも「エキサイト」してしまうことでしょう。(笑)) それとも…落ち着ける新曲を書けば良いってことか？！（笑・汗） 妄想はこのくらいにしておきますm(_ _ )m 失礼致しました。
And this BGM story reminded me about the talk between my Dad earlier this year. Still today, Hachimanyu is air playing a BGM, something like “elevator music”. Though, during this winter holiday, somehow my Dad decided to play the pop song of Hibari Misora, a very popular Japanese pop singer from Showa Era. And there was a good responce from the customers!! So, I’m talking about this “BGM request” project together with my Dad right now. Of course, you can request several songs of mine, but probably it won’t fit to the relaxing bath house image… because most of my songs are too energetic. Probaly, those songs can bring you excitements and energetic power to break through the tough reality more than comfortable relaxing hours. Or maybe I simply need to write some new soothing song?!
